Erwin-Penland Strengthens its Verizon Wireless Team and Welcomes Eight Summer Interns

GREENVILLE, S.C. [June 15, 2010] – Erwin-Penland (EP), one of the five largest advertising and marketing firms in the Southeast and a division of Interpublic Group’s Hill, Holliday, has strengthened its Verizon Wireless team with the promotion of Trisha Russell and the addition of Brittney Washington and Tyler Bishop. EP also welcomes its eight summer interns, from around the nation, to participate in one of the most outstanding internship programs in the Southeast.
Russell has recently been promoted from lead graphic designer to associate experiential branding designer on the Verizon Wireless account. She has been at EP for over four years and has her Bachelor of Arts degree in communication design.
Washington joins the EP Verizon Wireless team as a graphic designer from Shorewood Packaging in East Flat Rock, N.C. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in graphic communications from Clemson University.
Bishop also joins the Verizon Wireless team at EP as a graphic designer. He graduated from the University of South Carolina Upstate with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with an emphasis in graphic design.
EP also welcomes Will Classen from Clemson University, Hank Wolff from the University of South Carolina, Kelsey Heuvelman from the Savannah College of Art and Design, Sun Park from the University of Illinois, Aimee Carricato from Penn State University, Kristin Adams from Washington and Lee University, Stephanie Wierwille from the University of Tennessee and Justin Simmons from the University of Florida as summer interns. Working on various projects across all agency accounts, these students from around the country will receive a behind-the-scenes look into the advertising world as they complete EP’s eight-week internship.
