Notable Promotions Bolster Erwin-Penland Senior Management Team

GREENVILLE, S.C. [February 1, 2010] – Erwin-Penland (EP), proudly announces the promotions of Andy Mendelsohn and Roger Beasley, as well as the promotion of Renee Roberson and her addition to the Senior Management Team. This move marks an expansion of the EP leadership team as the company, a division of Interpublic Group’s Hill, Holliday, continues to grow as one of the five largest advertising and marketing firms in the Southeast.

Roberson has been promoted from Director of Human Resources to Vice President, Director of Human Resources and will be a new member of the Senior Management Team. Roberson brings HR experience from industry leaders including BBDO, Detroit, and the Omnicom Group, serving as Associate Director and Senior HR Manager in the corporate offices of the largest worldwide advertising holding company. For the past year Roberson has directed strategic HR initiatives designed to guide the direction of both clients and the agency. Roberson attended The Ohio State University and last year received one of EP’s 2009 Outstanding Newcomer Awards.
Fresh from celebrating his fifth anniversary with EP, Mendelsohn moves from Vice President, Executive Creative Director to Senior Vice President, Executive Creative Director. During his career Mendelsohn has delivered inspired creative for such national marquee accounts as Tylenol, Lexmark, Panasonic and Daimler Chrysler. Mendelsohn now supervises the development and execution of all EP agency creative work for current clients including: BI-LO, Verizon Wireless, ScanSource, Advance America, and Denny’s. Mendelsohn has previously been recognized with advertising industry accolades including the Communicator Award, One Show Award and Mercury Award, as well as numerous National ADDY awards. Mendelsohn attended Hobart College in Geneva, New York.
A nine year EP veteran, Beasley has been promoted from Vice President, Director of Strategic Planning to Senior Vice President, Director of Strategic Planning. Bringing with him over 20 years of experience, Beasley brought his strategic vision to bear for DMB&B in Los Angeles, BBDO in Atlanta and Rockett Burkhead and Winston in Raleigh, N.C. before arriving at EP. During his tenure at EP he has worked with all agency clients, including Verizon Wireless, Denny’s and Advance America. At EP, Beasley works closely with each client to provide specific marketing strategies and to guide agency efforts in creating integrated communication plans. Beasley is a graduate of the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
