Erwin-Penland Strengthens Its Ever-Growing Team with One New Hire and One Promotion

GREENVILLE, S.C. – November 5, 2009 – Erwin-Penland (EP), one of the five largest advertising and marketing firms in the Southeast and a division of Interpublic Group’s Hill, Holliday, announces today the hiring of Karen Pere-Williams and the promotion of David Slone.

Pere-Williams comes to EP from Introworks in Minneapolis, Minn. where she worked as a Copywriter. At EP, Karen will also serve as Copywriter and provide concepts for Denny’s, the Greenville Drive, Scan Source and Fatz Cafe. Karen received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Rochester Institute of Technology and her Certificate of Completion from the Advertising Copywriting Program at the Minneapolis School of Advertising.

Slone has recently been promoted from Graphic Designer to Senior Graphic Designer. Responsible for the studio needs of BI-LO and Upstate SC Alliance, he will serve as the point designer for both clients. Slone joined Erwin-Penland in 2007 after receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree in Art from Anderson University in Anderson, S.C.
