Erwin-Penland Promote Four

GREENVILLE, S.C. – April 27, 2009 – Erwin-Penland, one of the largest advertising and marketing firms in the Southeast and a division of Interpublic Group’s Hill, Holliday, has promoted Jennifer Clanton, Lesley Duncan, Beth Fann and Tom Pletcher.

Clanton, a native of Greenville, came to EP in 2007 as a junior account executive with a bachelor’s degree in science marketing and entrepreneurial management from the University of South Carolina. She has been promoted to account executive on the Verizon Wireless account and will serve on the promotions team developing advertisements for Midwestern Newspapers.

Duncan has been promoted to account executive on the Verizon Wireless account and will be focusing her efforts on the How Sweet the Sound Verizon Wireless project. In her new role, Duncan will help manage awareness building, registration and online voting for the campaign, facilitating print, direct mail, point-of-purchase displays and in-store registration. She has been with EP for almost two years and was awarded the 2008 Erwin-Penland Outstanding Newcomer of Year Award.

Fann has been named associate art director for Denny’s, The Greenville Drive, Milliken and Michelin accounts after working as a senior graphic designer for almost two years. Her responsibilities will include creating and executing concepts and designs for clients, and in 2008 Fann won the Outstanding Newcomer of the Year Award.

An Indiana native, Pletcher started at EP in 2007 and has now been named Interactive account supervisor for Advance America, Greenville Humane Society and Milliken. Pletcher will be a client liaison for the Interactive department, and will develop strategic marketing and interactive plans for clients. He is a graduate of Northwestern University and has been recognized by the Greenville ADDY’s.
