Continuing Growth Brings Three New Hires and Four Promotions to Erwin-Penland

GREENVILLE, S.C. – September 18, 2009 – Erwin-Penland (EP), continues to enhance its ever-growing team with the promotions of Bill Day, Cindy Galloway, Diana McGuire and Audrey Searles, and the hiring of new team members Julia Avila, Bryan Huber and Peter MacKellar. EP is one of the five largest advertising and marketing firms in the Southeast and a division of Interpublic Group’s Hill, Holliday.

Day has been promoted from Management Supervisor to Director of Promotions and will be responsible for all agency accounts. As the Director of Promotions, he will be in charge of developing integrated sales, consumer, trade and account specific marketing programs. Day has been with EP for more than two years and received his Bachelor of Science degree from Kent State University.

Galloway joined EP in 2007 and has been promoted from Production Manager to Lead Production Manager. In her new role, Galloway will work on the Verizon Wireless Shopper Marketing team. A graduate of Clemson University, Galloway received her degree in Graphic Communications.

McGuire was recently promoted from Associate Production Manager to Print Production Manager. Having been at EP for more than a year, she will continue her work on the Verizon Wireless Communications team. McGuire received her Bachelor of Science degree in Graphic Communications from Clemson University.

Searles joined the Verizon Wireless team at EP three years ago and has been promoted from Lead Designer to Design Supervisor for all clients. Receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design, Searles is a graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology.
Avila arrives at EP from Stinson Morrison Hecker, LLP, in Kansas City, Mo. where she worked as a Senior Accounts Payable Clerk. At EP, Julia will assist the Accounting Department for various clients.

Huber joins EP on the Verizon Wireless Shopper Marketing team. Originally from Myrtle Beach, S.C., Huber graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Graphic Communications from Clemson University.

MacKellar joins the EP Public Relations team as a second Fall Intern, assisting with all PR clients including BI-LO, BI-LO Charities, Michelin’s ABetterPlay.com, MilliCare, the Greenville Humane Society, MaxCell and the Upstate SC Alliance. MacKellar graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Mass Communications.
