Five New Hires, Two Promotions Announced At Erwin-Penland

GREENVILLE, S.C. – August 20, 2009 – Erwin-Penland (EP), continues to grow and enhance its Verizon Wireless, Denny’s, Greenville Drive and ScanSource teams with the promotion of Imani Scope and Katherine Ferguson, and the hiring of Andy Heck, Rasheeda Mickel, Stephen Brown, Rebeca Ortega and Jessica Deuel. EP is one of the five largest advertising and marketing firms in the Southeast and a division of Interpublic Group’s Hill, Holliday.

Scope has been promoted to Senior Account Supervisor from Account Supervisor and will continue serving on the Verizon Wireless/Verizon Telecommunications team. He joined EP in 2007 and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Georgia State University.

Ferguson joined EP in 2007 and has been promoted from Junior Account Executive to Account Executive. In her new role, she will work on the Verizon Wireless Shopper Experience team. A graduate of Clemson University, Ferguson received her Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing.

Before arriving at EP, Heck worked as a Graphic Designer for the Clemson University Brooks Center for the Performing Arts. He received his Bachelor of Arts, Master of Arts and Master of Science degrees from Clemson University and will serve as a Senior Graphic Designer across various accounts.

Mickel comes to EP as a Graphic Designer joining the Denny’s and Verizon Wireless teams after previously working for a law firm in the accounting and correspondence departments. Originally from London, England, she attended an apprenticeship program at the National Graphical Association in London.

EP welcomes Brown from the Bounce Agency in Greenville, S.C., where he also served as Senior Art Director. Overseeing services on the Greenville Drive, Denny’s and ScanSource accounts, Brown received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Appalachian State University.

Ortega joins EP as a Senior Account Executive from Greenville, S.C.-based IMI where she worked as an Account Director. Receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree in Advertising and Photography from Michigan State University, Ortega will work on the Verizon Wireless Shopper Experience team.

EP welcomes Deuel as an Account Executive on the Verizon Wireless Shopper Experience team from the Bounce Agency, where she was an Account Manager. Deuel earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of South Carolina.
