Erwin-Penland Hires New Director of Human Resources, Associate Director of Interactive Promoted

GREENVILLE, SC – December 2, 2008 – Erwin-Penland, one of the largest advertising and marketing firms in the Southeast and a division of Interpublic Group’s Hill, Holliday, has today announced the hiring of a new Director of Human Resources and the promotion of a new Director of Interactive Services.

Renee Roberson will serve as Director of Human Resources. She will oversee the strategic development and management of human resources, with an emphasis on recruiting. Roberson has a strong agency background, having previously served as the Senior Project Manager of Human Resources for Omnicom Group and as Associate Director of Human Resources at BBDO Detroit, a subsidiary of Omnicom Group. She is in her tenth year of practicing Human Resources at the management level in the advertising industry, with her experience expanding across all facets of Human Resources. Roberson has led many global agency initiatives in her previous positions and is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management and World at Work.

After working at Erwin-Penland for nine years, Kevin Purcer has been promoted to Director of Interactive Services. He now leads all digital initiatives for the agency’s full roster of clients, which includes Verizon Wireless, Advance America and BI-LO Supermarkets. Previously the Associate Director of Interactive, Purcer was instrumental in the development of Erwin-Penland’s in-house Interactive Group. He is a graduate of Clemson University.
