Erwin-Penland Achieves Place in Prestigious Graphis Poster Annual
May 17, 2006
GREENVILLE, S.C., May 15, 2006 – For the first time, Erwin-Penland’s creative work has landed in the prestigious Graphis Poster Annual, a publication that showcases the top 10 percent of the industry’s best single marketing posters produced each year.
Graphis selected Erwin-Penland’s “Rolling for Ronald” poster for inclusion in this year’s publication. The pro bono project was part of a marketing campaign to benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Carolinas’ motorcycle rally and road trip, held last October.
The Graphis Poster Annual features more than 300 top poster designs created throughout the year, selected from thousands of international entries. The bound volume highlights full-page posters created for filmmakers, retailers, record labels and more, and includes detailed credit information about the creative personnel involved on each piece.
“Achieving recognition from Graphis is one of the gold standards in our business,” said Andy Mendelsohn, executive creative director at Erwin-Penland. “And the fact that we were included in this year’s poster annual for our work for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Carolinas makes it even more rewarding.”
Graphis also publishes an advertising annual, featuring the year’s top design, advertising, photography and illustration accomplishments. For more information about the annual volumes, or the magazine, visit www.graphis.com.
