September 01, 2006
GREENVILLE, S.C., Sept. 1, 2006 – Erwin-Penland has added the Greenville Humane Society to its list of pro bono clients. The full-service marketing firm will execute a strategic plan to communicate the organization’s programs and activities to the public at large, city and county officials, loyal donators and animal lovers in the community.
Erwin-Penland will offer a broad range of services in public relations, marketing communications and event marketing to help the Greenville Humane Society educate the community on its animal adoption, spay and neuter and shelter management programs. Specific work will include a new design for a Web site, as well as the implementation of a direct mail campaign.
“The Greenville Humane Society is extremely fortunate to have access to the level of expertise that Erwin-Penland provides its clients,” said John Freed, operations manager for the Greenville Humane Society. “Their full-service capabilities will dramatically help our efforts in improving the quality of life and humane treatment of animals in Greenville County.”
A longtime supporter of the Greenville Humane Society, Erwin-Penland recently hosted its ninth annual Dog Days celebration, a weeklong fundraising initiative. The record-breaking Dog Days event raised more than $4,500 for the non-profit organization.
“We are excited about the opportunity to take on this challenge,” said Barry Finkelstein, director of integrated marketing for Erwin-Penland. “Our support for the Greenville Humane Society has never wavered, and we see tremendous opportunity in executing a new strategic vision through a period of significant change.”
Erwin-Penland also focuses philanthropic activities on other community outreach initiatives through its support of Hands on Greenville and the United Way.
