NEW YORK (Sept. 14, 2011) – The Interpublic Group’s Hill Holliday today announced it is adding the Erwin Penland nameplate to its New York offices in a move designed to position both agency brands for future growth.
Boston-based Hill Holliday has operated a New York office since 1983, expanding its unit there with the acquisition of Altschiller & Co. in 1996. Erwin Penland joined the Hill Holliday family in 2004 in part because of a common client: Erwin Penland and Hill Holliday’s New York office both handled regional retail advertising duties for Verizon Wireless. Today, Hill Holliday and Erwin Penland handle all national retail advertising for the nation’s largest wireless provider.

Ad Age names agency one of the 30 top employers in the countryGREENVILLE, S.C. (Aug. 29, 2011) – Erwin Penland (EP), a division of The Interpublic Group’s Hill Holliday and one of the largest advertising and marketing firms in the South, has been named to the “2011 Best Places to Work” list by Ad Age, the nation’s leading advertising, marketing and media magazine.
Placing 23rd among 30 industry leaders honored by Ad Age, Erwin Penland was singled out for creating an environment in which people love to work and contribute their best ideas. The full-service marketing firm with more than 275 employees was evaluated on a two-part employee survey that covered workplace experience and company culture, as well as a questionnaire used to collect information about the agency’s benefits, policies and practices.

August 21, 2011 Erwin-Penland Hires Nine, Promotes One
×GREENVILLE, S.C. (Aug. 22, 2011) – Erwin-Penland (EP), a division of The Interpublic Group’s Hill Holliday and one of the largest advertising and marketing firms in the South, has hired Orlando Asson as graphic designer, Giselle Bravo and Nicole Meares as ad processing coordinators, Kyle Burnett as senior account executive, Ally Callahan as junior media planner, TJ Deluccia as junior account executive, Whitney Fox as associate project manager, and Josh Crowley and Kate Venuto as public relations interns. The agency also promoted Alicia Littleton to interactive project manager.
Asson joins EP after serving as a summer intern for the agency and will handle graphic design duties for Verizon and Lennar, one of the nation’s largest homebuilders. He earned an associate’s degree from Greenville Technical College.

(Aug. 8, 2011) – Erwin-Penland (EP), a division of The Interpublic Group’s Hill Holliday and one of the largest advertising and marketing firms in the South, has promoted David Galloway to accounts payable coordinator, Will McMahan to media supervisor, Meagan Nugent to account supervisor, Caitlin Sexton to broadcast producer and Mandy Stinson to copywriter.
Joining EP nearly four years ago, Galloway has been promoted from accounting assistant. He attended North Greenville University.
