Billing Coordinator

The Billing Coordinator assists with the coordination of client billing for advertising and production services rendered by the Agency.  He/she reports to the Client Accounting Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Runs the weekly Agency Summary and Work-in-Progress (WIP) Reports to identify billable orders to be invoiced.
  • Attends monthly meetings with Account teams to ensure that all jobs are compliant with IPG and Sarbanes Oxley guidelines.
  • Creates billing pro-formas and client invoices and delivers them to Account teams for approval.
  • Issues adjustment billings for any discrepancies between original billing and actual orders run.
  • Maintains accurate and organized billing binders and job jackets for back up invoice files.
  • Assists with the preparation of information for client or internal audits.
  • Assists with special projects related to the year-end function.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 1-2 years previous work or internship experience in accounting/finance or related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly above average Microsoft Excel skills required.  Microsoft Access skills a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
